What is the Pre-Wrath Rapture? I have been a pre-tribulational teacher for many decades. I no longer embrace the pre-tribulational view. The pre-tribulational position has a model that they apply to the Biblical text. This model (grid) helps to filter out Bible passages they categorically determine to not fit. In other words, the model comes first, then the text is viewed. The proper approach is to build a model first from the Biblical text. The last couple of years we have seen many pre-tribulational teachers realize the prewrath position is more consistent with the Biblical text. PreWrath Rapture Short Description: The concept of a Prewrath rapture is one of several premillennial views on the End Times events among some evangelical Christians, and states that Christians will be raptured at the end of a time called the Great Tribulation (which begins at the midpoint of the seventieth week of Daniel), and before the Day of the Lord.
